Dave Cole is a maker and a storyteller. He’s spent donkey years in cybersecurity building products like Foundstone vulnerability management, moving Norton past PC antivirus, fixing up CrowdStrike in the early days so it could scale, and most recently, pioneering DSPM as the CEO of Open Raven. He’s now a recovering security vendor who works as CTO of Formstack, which acquired Open Raven in the Spring of 2024. He lives in LA with his family but can frequently be found back in Ann Arbor, lending a hand at his alma mater, the University of Michigan. Go Blue.
